Hey Guys,
So today I spent the afternoon at a friends house and I just couldn't resist brining my camera and snapping a bunch of pictures. I'm only going to post my favourites otherwise there would be to many. I am still experimenting with what kind of photography I want to get into. Pet photography is very appealing to me as I have my own pets and take way to many pictures of them as if. Today I got to take some of Kathleen's dogs which was a nice change. Anyways judge for yourself. if you want to see all the pictures they are posted on my Facebook page Brianne Holmes Photography, Check it out and don't forget to like my page so you can see all my new post and pictures.
I live in Calgary right now and we have had some bad luck around her lately, downtown Calgary is flooded and towns south of Calgary are also flooded. It's been a hard thing to watch but thru it all the citizens of Calgary and surrounding areas have come together to help those who are displaced. It really helps my faith in humanity to see everyone take care of people they don't know with such love and care. I haven't had much time to travel to the affected areas to see what the damage is actually like but I am hoping to take a nice drive tomorrow and hopefully steal some snaps of this devastating flood. So not that that is happy news or anything to really look forward to but might get some interesting pictures.
Also as I said I take way to many pictures of my own pets. Here are a couple really neat ones well at least I think so. My favourite one is of Chloe (the dog) Jumping to catch the ball. She is so energetic and easy to shot. The cat is just so freaking cute I could take pictures of him all day and never get bored. Well till next time.
XOXO B
I read this photo blog where he had a whole section dedicated to feet first, I loved it so much that I am going to try my own. So this is the first of many.

Photo Challenge Day 2
So, This is my second day of my photo challenge. My gorgeous dog Chloe is yesterdays subject. I find animals to be so amazing to photograph. They have so much energy and love to give. Be prepared to see lots of animal pictures in the future. Just going to play around and see where my talents lie. Everyone can be good at everything but only a few can be really good at one thing. Just trying to figure out what my secret talent is.
I am going to attempt the personal picture today so wish me luck, and look forward to that tomorrow.
If anyone wants to meet me at the park with their doggy I would love to take some candid photos. More pictures taken equals more experience for me. Let me know. Enjoy xoxox

Just For Fun.
Ok, so when I first started this I was so into it and then I totally forgot about it. now it is time for me to get back into it. I originally wanted to start a business with my photography but now realize I should just let myself grow in to what is going to happen in stead of trying to force it.
I haven't been taking to many photos lately and I regret that. It's almost what we call summer here in Calgary and everything is turning green, flowers are blooming and Chloe (the dog) wants to be outside running around as much as she can. The photos below are of us playing in the back yard. I think tomorrow I will bring my camera to the dog park and see how that goes.
I want to try and take a couple photos a day. They say the more shots you take the better you get so lets test out that theory, Cant hurt to try and better my skills. My boyfriend recently visited me from Victoria (where he lives at the moment) He left yesterday so in his absence I need something else to focus on that isn't about how much I miss him. Anyone else who has been in a long distance relationship can relate i'm sure. Enough rambling. Now its time for cute animals pictures! xoxo
